2018 Range Rover Velar

The new Range Rover Velar is a classy, sleek, and modern SUV with all the power and off road capabilities of a range rover. The interior is completely redesigned with a new center console the biggest change is the climate controls which are now all touch capacitive. The Velar sits in between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. The starting price of the Velar is 49,900 for the base model with the highest trim level being the First Edition which starts at 89,300. The velar has a choice of three engines with the smallest one being a 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder which makes 247 HP and 269 pound feet of torque. The next engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine which develops 177 HP and 317 pound feet of torque. The final engine is a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 developing 380 HP and 332 pound feet of torque. My recommendation is to get the base model with the diesel engine because of all the standard features that it comes with like lane departure, adaptive cruise, power tailgate, panoramic roof and many more. The new Velar is a great car for those who think that the bigger range rovers are too big or too expensive and the Evoque is too small.
