The Tesla model 3 has become one of the most popular electric cars on the market with good reason, with over 300 miles of range, quick acceleration and of course the supercharger network. The new refresh model for 2024 has made the model 3 even more of an enticing choice with a new face and a more luxurious interior that now includes ventilated seats and ambient lighting. However, there are some things that go against the grain too. Tesla has decided to get rid of both stalks from the old model now, everything is controlled by either the steering wheel or the screen including selecting what gear you want to go in. This has been the most controversial part of the new model 3 causing some to say they will no longer consider the car. However, the model S and X have also transitioned to this design a couple years ago and people have embraced the change. I suspect the new model 3 will be no exception. Build quality has also been a significant talking point for tesla with miss-aligned body panels and some creeks and rattles however, The new model 3 has had a significant improvement in quality. Body panels are consistent, the creeks and rattles are no more and now the car is considerably quieter. Overall, The updated model 3 seems like a no brainer if you are looking for a semi-premium electric sedan that wont break the bank.
